Description of the position and key responsibilities: A qualified Chief Engineer is sought for a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) DP2 operating in West Africa, specifically in the region of Côte d’Ivoire. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the main Bergen Diesels KRMB-9 engine and other mechanical systems of the ship, ensuring efficient operation during the 2-month contract on board. The position requires previous experience in offshore operations within the same range.

Requirements and qualifications:
– Nationality: Ukrainian.
– Maximum age: 53 years.
– Minimum experience of 12 months in the position of Chief Engineer.
– Knowledge and previous experience with engines similar to or the same as the Bergen Diesels KRMB-9.
– DP Maintenance certificate and DPM experience.
– Good command of English.
– Valid documentation: passport, seaman’s book, COC/END, and STCW certificates.
– Full vaccinations against yellow fever, polio, and Covid-19.

Additional details: A daily salary between $330 and $350 is offered. Embarkation is scheduled for August 12, 2025 in Abidjan. The contract is for 2 months on board followed by 2 months off, under the flag of Vanuatu. It is important to note that the offer is restricted to residents outside of Crimea.
