Key role description and responsibilities:
We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a general cargo vessel with a DWT of 5233. Responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining all engineering systems of the vessel, ensuring efficient and safe operations. The ideal candidate will manage the maintenance team and coordinate with the captain to ensure optimal vessel operability.

Requirements and qualifications:
To be considered for this position, previous experience as a Chief Engineer is essential. A good level of English is required for communication on board and with the rest of the crew.

Additional details:
The offered contract is for 3 months with the possibility of a +/- 1 month extension. Embarkation is scheduled for mid-October, specifically in week 42. The salary offered for this position is £7,400.
