Job Opportunity for Fitter and 3rd Engineer on CSV Ship – UK Waters

Accord People is seeking to fill the positions of Fitter and 3rd Engineer to work on a Construction Support Vessel (CSV) in UK waters, up to 12 nautical miles from the coast. The contract duration is 3 to 4 weeks, starting on 21st October. Selected candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Fitter:

Experience in welding is required, as well as specific skills in maintenance and repair of maritime machinery.

3rd Engineer:

Responsible for monitoring and controlling the engine room, ensuring the proper functioning of all technical systems under their supervision.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Fitter:

  • COC/COP Motorman Certification
  • STCW and DSD Safety Training
  • BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS Certification
  • ENG1 Medical Certificate
  • Engine Room Surveillance
  • Seaman’s Book

3rd Engineer:

  • Chief Engineer Watchkeeping Certificate
  • STCW and DSD Safety Training
  • Advanced STCW Firefighting
  • STCW Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
  • STCW Medical First Aid
  • BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS Certification
  • ENG1 Medical Certificate
  • Seaman’s Book

Additional Details:

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. The contract is expected to last 3 to 4 weeks starting from 21st October.
