Job Opportunity: Crew for AHTS DP2 in Anchor Handling Operation
WishToSail.com presents an exciting opportunity to join an anchor handling operation that supports pipeline installation barges. We are looking for personnel with experience, skills, and motivation to be part of an AHTS DP2 vessel.
Job Description and Key Functions:
The vessel, an AHTS DP2 type in non-DP mode, has a length of 65 meters, CPP propulsion, 80-ton bollard pull, and operates with anchor handling 24 hours a day. The anchor handling equipment is a 20-ton Stevshark type. Positions available include:
- Masters (2): Strong experience in anchor handling, preference for candidates approved by ADNOC.
- Chief Officer (1): Experience in anchor handling, preference for ADNOC-approved candidates.
- Second Officer (1): Experience in anchor handling preferred.
- Chief Engineer (1): Experience in anchor handling, preference for ADNOC-approved candidates.
- 2nd Engineer (1): Preferred experience in anchor handling, preference for ADNOC-approved candidates.
- Third Engineer (1)
- ETO (1)
- Bosuns (2): Required experience in anchor handling.
- ABs (4): Experience in anchor handling preferred.
- Oilers (2)
- Cook (1) and Assistant Cook (1): Must be able to bake bread, cakes, and provide full support in the kitchen.
- Stewards (2)
Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates with previous experience in anchor handling and approval by ADNOC for certain positions will be highly valued. All candidates are expected to have standard training and professional skills for the positions applied for.
