Description of the position and key functions: The position of 2nd Officer JDPO (Junior Deck Officer with Dynamic Positioning Officer Certification) requires experience on offshore supply vessels (PSV) and anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS). Responsibilities include assisting in dynamic positioning operations and maintaining accurate records in the IMCA logbook.

Requirements and qualifications:
– Minimum of 6 months of experience in AHTS/PSV.
– 24 months of experience in the position for CO; 12 months for JDPO.
– 1500 hours of DP for CO; Full DP Certification for JDPO.
– Registration in the IMCA logbook.
– Approval by the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) is advantageous.
