Third Engineer for Offshore Support Vessels at Tidewater Inc.- Location: West Africa
Tidewater Inc. is looking for a Third Engineer to join the engineering department on board their offshore support vessels (OSV). The Third Engineer will report directly to the Chief Engineer and will have the authority to stop any work that they consider dangerous to personnel, the environment, or equipment.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Appropriate Engineering Officer qualification for the assigned type of vessel.
- Valid STCW certification.
- Current licenses and previous experience in the requested position range.
- Focus and commitment to quality, health, safety, and the environment (QHSE).
- Ability to proactively solve problems and stress tolerance.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.
