Second Engineer for Heavy Lift Semi-Submersible in the UK
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer to join a heavy lift semi-submersible in the UK. This position involves working in 5-week rotations on board, followed by 5 weeks off. The Second Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of the ship’s engineering systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation during maritime operations.
Requirements and qualifications: Right to work in the UK. Certificate of Competency (COC). Seafarer’s Record Book. STCW Certificates (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers). OPITO BOSIET / FOET certificate including CA EBS. Medical certificate for seafarers. Shoulder measurement.
Additional details: This is a paid position with work rotations that allow for a work-life balance. The operation will be conducted within 12 nautical miles from next year onwards. It is an ideal opportunity for professionals with the right documentation and experience in maritime environments.
