Chief Engineer on Suezmax Crude Oil Tanker – Location: Onboard – Salary: £13,000-£14,000 + £1,500 RB
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer with experience to work on a Suezmax type crude oil tanker, with a carrying capacity of 163,759 tonnes and built in South Korea in 2006. The main engine of the vessel is a MAN B&W 6S70MC-C8. Responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the onboard engineering team, ensuring the optimal operation of the main engine, and managing the technical team.
Requirements and qualifications: Minimum 12 months of previous experience in the same rank. Proficiency in English. Experience on the same type of vessel (Suezmax).
Additional details: The contract duration is 4 months with the possibility of extending for an additional month. The embarkation date is scheduled for December. The offered salary is £13,000-£14,000 plus a bonus of £1,500 at the end of the contract.
