Description of the position and key functions: An opportunity is available to join as a Second Engineer on board a crude oil tanker with a deadweight tonnage of 163759 t, built in South Korea in 2006. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the proper operation and maintenance of the main engine MAN B&W 6S70MC-C8 and other mechanical systems essential for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: Minimum 12 months of experience in the Second Engineer rank. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Previous experience on vessels of the same type.
Additional details: Embarkation date: December. 4+1 months contract. Competitive salary of £11000 to £11400, plus a bonus of £1100RB.
