Job description and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a coastal vessel with a DWT of 3809, built in the year 2023. The main functions include the supervision and maintenance of the main ABC / 6DZC engine, ensuring the optimal operation of all technical systems on board, as well as managing the engineering team.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a Chief Engineer on vessels with similar characteristics. Solid technical knowledge of marine engines, specifically the ABC / 6DZC model. Ability to manage teams and perform maintenance tasks under pressure.
