Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The role of a 3rd Officer on a bulk carrier involves essential responsibilities in the daily management of navigation and safety on board. This officer will oversee operations related to the loading and unloading of the vessel, as well as assist in the maintenance of navigation equipment. They will also be responsible for compliance with maritime safety regulations and carrying out bridge watches.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, specialised training as a merchant marine officer is required, along with previous experience in similar roles on bulk carriers. Knowledge and handling of MAN B&W Hyundai – B&W 6S50MC-C7 engines will be valued, as well as leadership skills and teamwork competencies.
Additional Details:
