Job Opportunity: Maintenance Technician for General Cargo Ship
Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a professional maintenance technician to work on a general cargo ship. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems on board, ensuring their proper functioning at all times. The ship has a deadweight (DWT) of 12,947 tonnes and features a 5400 kW MAK engine, built in 2009.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a maintenance technician in the maritime sector. Proficiency in the English language. Valid US visa. Candidates with Ukrainian maritime experience will be preferred.
Additional details: 6-month contract. Mixed crew on board. Salary: £2,500.
