Description of the role and key responsibilities:
An opportunity is available for the position of Chief Engineer on a newly built container ship in 2024. The main responsibilities include managing and supervising all mechanical and electrical systems on board, ensuring the optimal operation of the main MAN B&W ME-C engine and ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of the ship with a DWT of 22527.
Requirements and qualifications:
Stable experience in the range of 10 to 12 months working with MAN ME-C engines is essential. Adequate level of English to work with a mixed crew. Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination. Valid Ukrainian documentation, with verification through Marad.
