Requirements

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, managing the navigation and manoeuvres of the vessel, supervising onboard safety, and coordinating operations with the dynamic positioning system. Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of this position on this type of vessel include voyage planning and execution, crew management, and maintaining navigation records.
