Position Overview

AmergoGroup is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a Coaster vessel. A competitive salary is offered along with a 4-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

A good level of English and previous experience in the role of Chief Engineer is required. Availability to start between 1st March and 20th May 2026.

Responsibilities

According to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Chief Engineer on a Coaster vessel include supervising and maintaining all propulsion and auxiliary machinery systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and managing the engine room staff.
