Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer (First Mate) for an LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) vessel within an international fleet. This is a maritime contract position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (Chief Officer CoC)
  • Previous experience on LPG vessels or tankers
  • Proficiency in technical maritime English
  • Updated STCW certificates (including specific training for tankers)

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of deck operations and gas loading/unloading
  • Responsible for vessel safety and maintenance
  • Acting as Captain in their absence
  • Management of deck crew and watch planning
  • Compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL regulations and gas vessel codes
