Requirements

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (II/2)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as First Officer on Panamax Bulk Carriers
  • Nationality from: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Montenegro

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of deck and cargo operations in accordance with STCW
  • Responsible for vessel, equipment, and crew safety (according to SOLAS)
  • Planning and execution of deck maintenance
  • Management of maritime and cargo documentation
  • Acting as Captain in their absence

Required Documentation

  • Certificate of Competency (II/2)
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Updated STCW certificates
  • Valid passport
  • Medical certificates (according to MLC 2006 regulations)
