Requirements
- UA/EU nationality
- Valid US visa
- Valid STCW documentation and medical certificate

Responsibilities
According to STCW, typical responsibilities for a Third Engineer Officer include:
- Supervision of engine room operations
- Maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary equipment
- Control of fuel and lubrication systems
- Support to the Chief Engineer in the technical management of the vessel
