We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a Heavy Lift vessel. This is an international contract position with a competitive salary package.
Contract Details
- Salary: 9500-9800 USD/month
- Location: International (Anywhere)
- Contract: 4 months (+/-1 month)
- Vessel Type: Heavy Lift vessel, DWT 12370
- Hiring Company: Amergo Group
- Required Training: First Class Engineer Officer certificate or equivalent, with STCW certification
- Benefits: Competitive USD salary, fixed-term contract with possibility of extension
Requirements
- Experience in the position of Chief Engineer
- Good level of English
Responsibilities
- Supervision and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion plant and auxiliary systems
- Management of the engine department and corresponding crew
- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL)
Required Documentation
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Seaman’s Book
- Updated STCW certificates
- Valid passport
- Medical certificates (including psychophysical fitness)
