Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Second Engineer for an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in Saudi Arabia under ARAMCO contracts. This position offers a competitive daily rate for a fixed-term contract with a leading ship management company.
Contract Details
- Salary: 225 USD per day
- Location: Saudi Arabia / ARAMCO operations
- Contract: 120-day fixed-term contract
- Vessel Type: AHTS DP2 (Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel with Dynamic Positioning Class 2 system)
- Hiring Company: Ryan Ship Management Pvt Ltd
- Required Training: STCW-compliant engineering officer training with specialisation in DP systems for offshore vessels

Requirements
- Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC)
- DP Maintenance Certificate
- 12 months experience as Second Engineer on AHTS DP2 or PSV vessels
- Nationality from one of the permitted countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon
Responsibilities
- Supervision of the engine department under the direction of the Chief Engineer
- Maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Management of the control room
- Compliance with safety and environmental procedures
- Operational responsibility during watchkeeping duties
- Specific maintenance of the dynamic positioning system on DP2 vessels
