Position Overview
We are seeking a Second Cook for a cable-laying vessel operating in European waters. This is a temporary position with a contract duration of 1-2 months, offered by Atlas NextWave. The successful candidate will join a vessel with a complement of up to 90 persons on board (POB).
Requirements
- Good level of English
- Experience working on vessels with up to 90 persons on board (POB)
- Formal culinary training or demonstrable experience as a cook on vessels
Responsibilities
- Preparation of meals for the crew
- Maintenance of the galley and food storage areas
- Compliance with food safety standards
- Collaboration with the Head Chef and the rest of the catering team
Required Documentation
- Updated CV
- Valid STCW certificates
- Seafarer’s medical certificate
- Seaman’s book (Libreta de inscripción marítima)
