Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) DP2 operating in the West Africa zone. This position offers a competitive salary and a rotational contract with a reputable company.

Offer Details

• Salary: 8100 USD/month (equivalent to 270 USD/day)
• Location: Operational zone: West Africa (WAF), including Namibia. Embarkation point: Namibia.
• Contract: Rotational contract: 2 months on board / 2 months on leave
• Vessel Type: Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) DP2, diesel-electric propulsion with Z-drives, GRT 4000, DWT 4700, built in 2013.
• Contracting Company: Seacover UA
• Required Training: Certificate of Competency (COC) as an Electro-Technical Officer, with specific training in DP2 and diesel-electric systems.

Requirements

• Ukrainian nationality (only residents of Ukraine, excluding Crimea)
• Age limit: 55 years
• Minimum 12 months experience in the same rank (ETO) on the same type of vessel (PSV DP2)
• DP2 certificate and experience in diesel-electric systems mandatory
• Updated DP logbook
• Good level of English
• Valid documents: passport, seaman’s book, Certificate of Competency (COC) with END, STCW documents
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination certificate

Functions

• According to STCW, typical ETO functions include maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, and automation systems on board, including diesel-electric propulsion, DP2 systems, and navigation equipment.
• Supervision of the electrical control room and power systems.
• Collaboration with the Chief Engineer and crew in technical operations.
