Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Deckhand (AB) for a Platform Supply Vessel (MPSV) operating under the Norwegian International Ship (NIS) registry. This is a full-time position with a 6-week on-board rotation schedule, based in the EU zone and open exclusively to EU nationals.

  • Salary: €4,983/month (on-board only)

Required Training & Benefits

  • Required Training: STCW training as per specified certificates
  • Benefits: Mandatory Norwegian social insurance (9.3% deduction: 1.7% pension + 7.6% health insurance). Advantages for candidates with: Fast Rescue Boat Certificate (STCW A-VI/2.2), Banksman & Slinger course, B1 OCS visa, Working at Heights course.

Requirements

  • EU national
  • Valid STCW certificates: VI/1 Basic Safety Training, VI/6.2 Security Awareness or VI/6.4 Security Functions, VI/2.1 Survival Craft
  • Valid Medical Certificate
  • Good level of English (Marlins test)

Responsibilities

  • According to STCW, typical Deckhand (AB) functions include: navigation watches, mooring/unmooring operations, deck maintenance, loading/unloading operations, and emergency support.
