Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and Third Engineer in engine room operations
- Supervision and maintenance of propulsion systems, generators, and auxiliary equipment
- Monitoring operational parameters and recording in the engine log book
- Compliance with safety and environmental procedures (SOLAS/MARPOL)
- Participation in engine watches and emergencies
