Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deckhand (AB) for a Chemical/Product Tanker operating in European waters. This position offers a competitive salary of €2,481 per month plus overtime, with a contract duration of 3 months (±1 month). The vessel is managed through the crewing agency “Saga”.
Requirements
- EU nationality (based on context from similar offers by the same agency)
- Valid Deckhand (AB) certificate
- Up-to-date STCW documentation
- Specific tanker certification (as per regulations)
Responsibilities
- Standing navigation watches under the supervision of the officer on watch
- Mooring and unmooring operations
- Deck and equipment maintenance
- Painting and preservation tasks
- Monitoring loading and discharge operations on tanker duties (according to STCW, functions include operational oversight and safety)
