Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Third Engineer Officer to join the crew of a crude oil tanker. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a specialised tanker fleet.

Offer Details

Salary: 5300 USD/month
Location: At sea (crude oil tanker)
Contract: 4+1 month contract
Vessel Type: Crude oil tanker (76,000 dwt, built in 2004)
Contracting Company: S. K. Crewing
Required Training: Merchant Marine Engineer Officer qualification and corresponding STCW certification
Benefits: 4-month contract with possible 1-month extension, work in a specialised tanker fleet

Requirements

  • Valid Certificate of Competency for Third Engineer Officer (3/E)
  • Good level of English
  • Experience on crude oil tankers

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion and auxiliary machinery systems
  • Control of crude oil loading and discharge systems
  • Management of the engine room under the direction of the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer
  • Compliance with safety and environmental procedures specific to tankers

Required Documentation

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
  • Updated STCW certificates
  • Seaman’s book
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Specific tanker certificates (such as advanced firefighting training, loading/discharge operations)
