Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chief Engineer to join a crude oil tanker operating within an international fleet. This is a contract position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Offer Details

  • Salary: €13,500 per month
  • Location: International Fleet (crude oil tanker)
  • Contract: 2-month contract
  • Vessel Type: Crude Oil Tanker (13,500 DWT)
  • Hiring Company: Marine MAN Ltd
  • Required Training: Naval Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, with STCW certification for Chief Engineer on tankers

Requirements

  • Nationality: Georgia, Ukraine, CIS/Eastern Europe
  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Chief Engineer on tankers
  • Previous experience on crude oil tankers
  • Availability to join on 19 April 2026

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and maintenance of the vessel’s engine plant
  • Management of the engine department and its personnel
  • Compliance with safety and environmental regulations (e.g., MARPOL, SOLAS)
  • Planning and execution of crude oil loading and unloading operations
  • Coordination with the Captain and other officers for safe vessel operation

Required Documentation

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
  • Updated STCW certificates
  • Medical certificate of fitness for seafarers
  • Valid passport
  • Seaman’s book
