24/7 Bunkers, a fast-growing marine energy solutions provider, is seeking a Junior Bunker Trader & Operations Officer to join its expanding team in Glyfada, Athens. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development in the maritime bunker trading sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in bunker trading, shipping operations, or a similar maritime environment
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with trading software
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Assist senior traders in executing bunker fuel trades and managing client portfolios
- Coordinate operational aspects of bunker deliveries, including scheduling and documentation
- Monitor market trends and provide analysis to support trading decisions
- Liaise with vessel operators, suppliers, and port authorities to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and prepare regular reports
- Support the development of new business opportunities and client relationships
Contract Details
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Glyfada, Athens. The role may require occasional flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
