Position Overview

Peninsula, a global leader in marine energy supply, is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Supply Trader to join its dynamic Supply & Trading team. This key role will be based in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on optimising supply chains and executing trading strategies in the marine fuels market.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine fuel trading or supply operations
  • Proven track record in the Asia Pacific bunker market
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical and risk management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Relevant certifications in trading or maritime operations are advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Execute physical and paper trading strategies for marine fuels
  • Manage supply chain optimisation and logistics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region
  • Monitor market trends and identify trading opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Contract Details

This is a permanent position based in the Asia Pacific region with competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
