Bosun – MV Ocean Voyager – Worldwide

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join the crew of the MV Ocean Voyager, a cargo vessel operating on worldwide routes. This is a permanent contract position with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading deck operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining the vessel’s deck equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bosun or in a similar deck leadership role on cargo vessels.
• Valid STCW certification (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers).
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work on a worldwide itinerary, including travel to various ports.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising deckhands.
• Knowledge of deck maintenance, cargo handling, and safety procedures.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: €3,500 per month, paid in Euros. Benefits include accommodation on board, meals, and medical insurance. Contract duration is permanent with a 4-month rotation schedule.
