Description of the position and key functions
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the supervision and maintenance of the main 6M43 C engine with 5400 kW power output. Operations will cover global routes, including potential trips to West Africa. The crew team includes, in addition to the Chief Engineer, a Second Engineer and a motorman.
Requirements and qualifications
Prior experience in the role of Chief Engineer, preferably in international operations. Advanced knowledge in the operation and maintenance of four-stroke engines. Ability to work in a team with other crew members. Ukrainian citizenship is valued.
Additional details
Salary: £5000 monthly, with a return bonus of £375 per month served on board, payable upon rejoining the next vessel. Location: Worldwide operations. Contract duration: 4 months +/- 1 month.
