Position Overview

Oilmar DMCC is further strengthening its international footprint by seeking an established Senior Bunker Trader to join its office in Istanbul, Türkiye. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients, negotiating bunker fuel sales, and ensuring profitable trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients in the bunker fuel market
  • Negotiate and execute bunker fuel sales contracts
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
  • Monitor market trends and provide timely market intelligence
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Manage credit risk and ensure timely payments

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bunker trading or related maritime fuel sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a client portfolio
  • Strong knowledge of the bunker fuel market, including pricing, logistics, and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
