Position Overview
Oilmar DMCC is further strengthening its international footprint by seeking an established Senior Bunker Trader to join its office in Istanbul, Türkiye. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients, negotiating bunker fuel sales, and ensuring profitable trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients in the bunker fuel market
- Negotiate and execute bunker fuel sales contracts
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Monitor market trends and provide timely market intelligence
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Manage credit risk and ensure timely payments
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bunker trading or related maritime fuel sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a client portfolio
- Strong knowledge of the bunker fuel market, including pricing, logistics, and regulations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
