Job Description and Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a general cargo vessel with a deadweight of 9800 tonnes, built in 2012. Responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining all machinery systems on board, with a focus on handling heavy fuels and ensuring a stable and safe maritime service.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 contracts of experience in the same rank on similar vessels.
- Experience with heavy fuels is essential.
- Stable and continuous maritime service record.
- Valid Chief Engineer diploma (over 3000 kW) and relevant certificates.
- Adequate level of English for professional communication.

Contract Duration: 4 months
Expected Start Date: June 10, 2025
Salary Range: 6500-7500 USD
