Job description and key functions: We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a Chemical/Oil Tanker ship weighing 50,000 deadweight tons (DWT), built in 2021 and equipped with an ME engine. Responsibilities include maintaining and supervising the ship’s electrical systems, ensuring optimal and safe operation.

Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must have previous experience on similar vessels, especially in handling ME engines and advanced electrical systems. A solid academic background in electrical engineering and demonstrated competencies in maritime environments will be valued.

Additional details: The offered salary ranges from £6,500 to £7,000, depending on the candidate’s experience. The contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and fleet needs.
