Chief Officer Position for VLCC in L-Stream Ltd – Ukraine
Description of the role and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Chief Officer to work on board a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) with a DWT of 318,000 MT. The main functions include overseeing the ship’s operations, managing the mixed crew, and coordinating with Norwegian owners. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within a fleet of approximately 30 VLCCs and 4 new constructions planned for the end of 2025 and early 2026.
Requirements and qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have relevant previous experience as a Chief Officer on VLCCs or similar vessels. Professional training in nautical or merchant marine will be valued, as well as competencies in leadership and management of multicultural teams.
Additional details:
The contract is for 4 months, with excellent rotation terms that allow for a proper balance between work and personal life. The offer includes a competitive salary package ranging from $10,700 to $11,890 USD.
