Electrical Technician of Trades (ETO) on Gearless Container Ships – Contract with Greek Shipowner
The position of Electrical Technician of Trades (ETO) is available on a container ship without cranes, built in South Korea. The responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems on board, ensuring the proper operation of the main MAN B&W ME engine, among other essential equipment. Candidates must be prepared to work in a mixed crew environment.
Requirements and Qualifications: Candidates with previous experience as ETO on similar vessels are required. Although exact educational requirements are not specified, it is common for interested parties to have technical training in maritime electricity or electronics. Familiarity with MAN B&W ME engines is a plus.
Additional Details: An attractive rotation plan is offered within a fleet of approximately 50 container ships. The package includes a salary ranging from £5800 to £6600.
