Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
We are looking to fill the position of Fitter on board a Bulker-type ship. Key responsibilities include maintenance and repair of the ship’s machinery and equipment, ensuring the proper functioning of all mechanical systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should have previous experience as a Fitter on Bulker vessels or similar. Specific training in naval machinery maintenance and teamwork skills in multinational environments are highly valued.
Additional Details:
The contract duration is 4 months, with a possible extension of 2 months. The crew will consist of Ukrainian personnel. The ship has a deadweight of 82,000 tonnes and was built in 2021. The start date is scheduled for May 1, 2025.
