Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a container vessel, the “Salgueiro”. The main responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the main engine type MAN B&W 7L 58/64, ensuring its optimal operation during operations in European and African maritime traffic areas.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the position of Second Engineer on similar vessels. Mandatory MARAD documentation. Technical skills to operate and maintain MAN B&W engines.
Additional details: Salary: 7300-7400 USD. Year of construction of the vessel: 2005. DWT: 13814. BHP: 9730. The crew on board is of Ukrainian and Burmese nationality.
