Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Third Engineer for a Bulk Carrier, built in Japan in 2020, with a deadweight of 38,000 tonnes (DWT). The crew is mixed, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. Main responsibilities include maintenance and operation of the ship’s machinery, ensuring the proper functioning of onboard mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements and qualifications: Relevant previous experience in a similar position. Accredited technical training in maritime engineering. Communication skills and ability to work in a mixed crew team.
