Description of the position and key functions:

The Second Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the main engines Yanmar 6EY18ALW, as well as other diesel-electric systems on board the vessel. The main function includes supervising the operability of the DP2 system and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and operational regulations.

Requirements and qualifications:

Prior experience in the position of at least 12 months on similar offshore vessels. Experience with similar or identical main engines. DP maintenance certificate. Good level of English. Valid documentation: passport, seaman’s book, COC/END, and STCW certificates. Full vaccination certificates (yellow fever, polio). Age limit: 53 years.

Additional details:

The contract is for 2 months on board and 2 months off. The vessel has a gross tonnage of 3585 and a deadweight of 4054.
