Description of the position and key functions: A Second Engineer is required for a Diesel-Electric DP2 Supply Vessel with Dynamic Positioning System (PSV). The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the main Yanmar 6EY18ALW engines, as well as other engineering functions on board a 3585 GRT and 4054 DWT vessel, built in 2015 and flagged in Liberia.

Requirements and qualifications: – Maximum age: 53 years. – Minimum experience of 12 months in the same position. – Previous experience on offshore vessels with diesel-electric DP2 propulsion over 3000 GT, preferably with similar engines. – DP maintenance certificate. – Proficiency in English. – Proper documentation: passport, seaman’s book, STCW competence and safety certificates. – Full vaccination certificates (Yellow Fever, Polio).

Additional details: – Region: West Africa – Namibia. – Joining date and location: As soon as possible, subject to visa clearance. – Contract: 2 months on board, 2 months off. – Remuneration: between $230 – $250 daily.
