Description of the role and key responsibilities: A Third Officer/JDPO is required to join a cable-laying vessel. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations on the bridge, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and assisting in the management of safety and deck operations. Additionally, the candidate is expected to actively participate in cable-laying operations from the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: It is essential to have the Sea Survival certification (GWO Sea Survival). Previous experience in cable-laying vessel operations or similar is desirable.
Additional details: The start date is scheduled for June 5th. The contract duration is approximately four weeks, but could be extended up to six weeks per rotation. The salary is negotiable and will be offered based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
