Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel Ukraine Ltd is looking for an Electrical Technical Officer (ETO) to join a VLGC (Very Large Gas Carrier) with a dwt of 44,639. The vessel is powered by a MAN B&W 5S60MC-C engine and was built in 2003. The position is available to join in mid or late July, with a 4-month contract with the possibility of a +/-1 month extension. The salary will depend on experience within the range.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

The ETO will be responsible for the supervision and maintenance of all electrical and electronic systems on board the VLGC. Key functions will include managing preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, ensuring the proper functioning of the propulsion system and auxiliary equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Prior experience on GAS or TANKER vessels. Specific knowledge of MC engines. GAS BASIC ENDORS certification. Preferably with a visa for the United States. Experience working in mixed crews and good command of English. Positive references from previous employers.
