Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a First Officer (CH/OFF) for a feeder container vessel of 9932 TRB, flagged in Antigua and Barbuda. The ship is owned by a German company and is equipped with a main engine MAN B&W 6S46ME-B of 8280 kW. The main responsibilities include supervising the vessel’s operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and efficiency in loading and unloading operations.
Requirements and qualifications: The candidate must have a valid visa for the United States, previous experience in similar positions, and suitable skills to operate a vessel of this type. Additional qualifications in team management and technical knowledge of the specified main engine will be considered.
Additional details: The contract is for a duration of 4 months with a monthly salary of £6500. The start date is scheduled for July 27, 2025.
