Trident Maritime is offering a position for a Chief Engineer on board a modern oil/chemical tanker with a deadweight of 50,000 tonnes, built in 2023. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the main engine MAN B&W 6G50ME-C9 with a power of 7,080 kW. They will lead a team of mixed crew, ensuring the proper functioning of the propulsion systems and complying with safety standards and energy efficiency during worldwide navigation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid US visa.
  • Minimum 20 months of experience as Chief Engineer.
  • Previous experience with ME type engines.
  • Good level of English.
  • Maximum age: 50 years.

Additional Details:

  • Expected embarkation on July 10, 2025.
  • Contract duration: 4 months (+/-1 month).
  • Navigation area: Worldwide.
  • Salary: Between $13,400 and $14,800 per month.
