Description of the position and key functions: A Third-Class Engineer with experience in the offshore fleet is sought to work on board a multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) with dynamic positioning system class 2 (DP2). Responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the mechanical and electrical systems of the ship, ensuring safe and efficient operation during operations.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the offshore fleet.
  • Chief Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency.
  • STCW courses (Basic and Advanced Safety Training); Survival Craft; Advanced Fire Fighting; Medical First Aid.
  • STCW VI/6.4 Security Duties Certificate; Security Awareness.
  • Valid medical certificate.
  • Good level of English, with English proof (Marlins).
  • High and low voltage FSE certification.
  • Required B1/OCS visa.

Additional details:

  • Gross salary of 7700 USD per month, applicable only during the onboard period, including 9.4% contributions to Norway’s national insurance.
  • Contract duration of 6 weeks.
