Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Chief Officer for a Bulk Carrier Panamax with a deadweight of 92,597 tons, built in 2007 by a shipyard in South Korea. The ship is owned by a Greek owner and has a mixed crew, including Europeans and Filipinos. The Chief Officer’s responsibilities include supervising loading and unloading, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring the safety of the ship.

Requirements and qualifications: The candidate must have a minimum of 12 months of experience in the Chief Officer rank on similar types of vessels. A good command of English and previous experience on this type of vessel are required. The employment process includes a CES test and an interview, as well as a visit to the company’s office.

Additional details: The offer includes a salary of £8500 plus a £400 RB bonus. The contract will last for 4 months with an option for an additional 2 months. Embarkation is scheduled for June, and 2 GB of internet per month is provided on board. The employment is completely free for candidates.
