Marvel Marine is currently looking for a 2nd Engineer specialized in LPG vessels to join their team. The position offers a competitive salary ranging between £11,000 and £11,500 per month, depending on the selected candidate’s experience.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a 2nd Engineer to integrate into an LPG vessel with a capacity range of 5,000 to 50,000 DWT. Key responsibilities include supervising and maintaining propulsion and power generation systems to ensure efficient and safe vessel operation. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling equipment specific to LPG vessels and the ability to coordinate with a diverse crew.
Requirements and Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on vessels of similar size and characteristics
– Certified training in maritime engineering
– Competencies in preventive and corrective maintenance
– Ability to work in a multicultural environment, primarily with crew of Ukrainian origin
