Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a new feeder of 1279 TEU. The main responsibilities include the supervision and maintenance of the main engines MAN 6S50ME-C9.6-LGIM-EcoEGR. The ship operates under the flag of Portugal, and its crew is mixed, sailing in the trade area between the European Union and Norway.
Requirements and qualifications: To apply for the position, previous experience in a similar role within the maritime sector is required, preferably on feeder vessels or vessels of comparable size. The candidate is expected to have appropriate training in maritime engineering and relevant skills in handling MAN type engines.
