Job Description and Key Responsibilities: The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the main engine, MAN B&W model, and other mechanical systems of the vessel. Responsibilities include daily management of the technical team, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with safety and energy efficiency standards.
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in the role of 2nd Engineer on container ships or similar vessels. Valid maritime engineering officer’s license. Knowledge and experience with MAN B&W engines.
